Guest Bedrooms

Our comfortable, spacious bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished with your comfort in mind.  We use feather and down quilts and pillows, sustainably sourced bed-linen and towels and organic toiletries.  In each room you will find an information pack, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and hot-water bottle for chilly nights.  Our cosy bathrooms are all en-suite with shower, washbasin and toilet.

Eorsa has twin single beds and views towards Torr Mor and the Sound of Iona. Double quilts mean that our single beds are nice and cosy.  This room is on the ground floor room, helpful for those who have mobility concerns.  With this in mind the newly renovated bathroom includes two grab rails - one in the shower and one next to the new comfort height toilet.

Lunga is a double bedroom with views of Torr Mor and the Sound of Iona towards the distant peak of the Dutchman’s Cap.

Iona, is our largest bedroom and it's two windows provide an excellent view of the Island from which it is named.

For 2020, bookings please note that this room is undergoing a full renovation for re-opening in March 2020.  This includes a brand new king-size bed, antique furnishings and fittings and a vintage inspired bathroom.  Photographs to follow as work hasn't started at the time of writing (Oct 2019).

Erraid, our second double bedroom, looks over the garden to the back of the house where you may catch a glimpse of Chris working in the garden. Solo travellers particularly favour this room as it has a cosy feel with a sunny aspect facing south and catches the sun all day

We like our rooms to be kept clean and tidy so nip in each day to make sure that everything is in good order for you. We change towels every four days and bed linen once a week in line with our green policy.

We will help you dry out on wet weather days, and our boot room comes complete with newspapers to stuff wet shoes and old towels to take the mud off...

We don’t offer a full laundry service, although we are sympathetic to those who have had an unexpected experience with a bog!
