Guest Bedrooms

Our comfortable, spacious bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished with your comfort in mind.  We use feather and down quilts and pillows, sustainably sourced bed-linen and towels and organic toiletries.  In each room you will find an information pack, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and hot-water bottle for chilly nights.  Our cosy bathrooms are all en-suite with shower, washbasin and toilet.

Iona

Iona is our largest bedroom and it's two windows provide an excellent view of both the Sound, Island and Abbey.  Comfortably furnished,  this room has a new king-size bed and a seating area where you can watch the ferry or enjoy the sunset.

Erraid

Erraid, a double bedroom, looks over the garden to the back of the house where you may catch a glimpse of Chris working in the garden. Solo travellers particularly favour this room as it has a cosy feel with a sunny aspect facing south and catches the sun all day

Eorsa

Eorsa has twin single beds and views towards Torr Mor and the Sound of Iona. Double quilts mean that our single beds are nice and cosy.  This room is on the ground floor room, helpful for those who have mobility concerns.  With this in mind the newly renovated bathroom includes two grab rails - one in the shower and one next to the new comfort height toilet.

Housekeeping

Our standards are high and we will continue to do our best even as we implement a range of changes due to the on-going pandemic.  Before you arrive, your room will have been steam-cleaned to ensure that it has been sanitised in line with current guidance.

During your stay, tea trays and toilet rolls will be checked everyday and your rubbish collected.  For stays of 4 nights and longer, we will clean bathrooms and provide fresh towels at the half-way point of your stay.

Coats and boots can be left in the porch as normal, where we will leave newspapers to stuff wet shoes and old towels to take the mud off... Many a guest has had a slip down Dun-Ithe and regretted not having walking poles, which are highly recommended here.

Please note that we are unable to provide a laundry service during your stay.
