Evening Meals at Staffa House

We encourage everyone to pre-book both dinner and supper options as that helps us plan ahead.

This year, we are offering a two-course brasserie-style dinner on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings with supper platters being offered on other nights.

Dinner is served at 6.30pm with prices starting at £22.50 per person for two courses.  We begin with home-made bread and olives before serving main course which is served with a variety of seasonal vegetables and potatoes.  Desserts are based on French patisserie and Chris always has a variety of home-made ice-creams. 

Previous menus have included:

  • Chargrilled Sirloin Steak with Café de Paris Butter
  • Chicken Fricassee with wild garlic pesto
  • Pork Loin with Leeks and Cider Sauce
  • Hake with Crab Crust and a Lime and Coriander Cream Sauce
  • Pan-fried Salmon with Watercress Sauce
  • Roast Cauliflower Steak with a split pea Dahl and crispy shallots

If you book dinner on your arrival day, then you will be emailed a menu so you can choose ahead of time.  If you would like a starter then please get in touch to discuss. This will confirm the current price of the meal too as it does change to reflect market rates and availability.

Our Supper Platters (served from 6.30pm) include home-made soup and home-made bread, and a selection of meat, cheese, fish, vegetarian or vegan options all served with pickles and salads.  We add a sweet treat such as a mini-crème brulee or a chocolate pot.  Prices start at £12.50 per person. 

As this is a little more flexible, if you have notified us of a late arrival (after 7pm) on any day, then you will be offered a supper platter and not dinner. 

Please note that all meals are provided on a BYOB basis as we do not have a licence to serve alcohol.
