It has been wonderful to be open and we have some updates to share.
First of all, our spacious downstairs bedroom Eorsa has been upgraded to a super-king bedroom. Inspired by the tones of the coast that the room overlooks, we have achieved a modern, fresh look with new furniture and a brand new bedding system that allows for the bed to be unzipped to make a twin. If you prefer to share a room, rather than a bed, then please let us know before you arrive – we are very happy to change things over. Guests who already have a booking will be contacted close to their arrival date for confirmation of the arrangements as until now, it has only been available as a twin room. There is no adjustment to the pricing, allowing two to share for £95 per night.
Dinner service is also adapting. Chris’ skills in the kitchen have been much welcomed by guests (see our Trip Advisor reviews) who have enjoyed everything from Greek salad with lamb cutlets, to halibut with a crab crumb to chicken fricassee and (vegan) spinach and chickpea dansak. Guest feedback is such that we now serve dinner each night at 6.30pm and concentrate on mains and puddings. Our residents are on their holidays and Chris’ tasty desserts have proven to be a real treat, so starters have been relegated while puddings win!
While June is busy we do still have availability for July and August. We appreciate that much remains in doubt about when restrictions will further ease and our electronic booking system gives an accurate picture of availability. For those who wish to travel as a family groups we recommend using our “whole house” booking option to guarantee the full run of the house and their own private chef. We are always happy to discuss accommodation and food requirements via telephone or email.
