Booking Information

Bookings for 2026 are now open.  We have a two night minimum stay policy but suggest a three night stay as that provides two full days on the Ross of Mull and means you gain flexibility in your plans (our weather is changeable) and some time to explore this beautiful part of Mull as well as enjoying the history and wildlife of Iona and Staffa. Children are welcome but must be capable of staying in their own room at the published rate.  We are happy to accept assistance dogs.

Our room rates are for two people sharing and include breakfast:

Iona - £160 per night

Eorsa is £150 per night

Lunga and Erraid are £145 per night

Erraid and Lunga are available for solo travellers to book at £130 per night. 

Our booking system is live and is always the most accurate way to check our availability. To book your room, please use the booking system on our website. It will show what rooms are available and the price for the number of nights that you have requested. Room rates are inclusive of breakfast and are for two people sharing. Please check that if you are travelling solo, you have asked for the price for 1 person when booking.

Any last minute availability or special offers are posted on the front page of our website during the main season. You must make sure that all your travel plans are made too as our ferries do get very busy in the summer months.

If you wish to book for 2027, then please email hello@staffahouse.co.uk to request a room as our online booking system won't be opened for 2027 until late September 2026.

Paying for your Stay
At the time of making your booking you will be asked to pay a 15% non-refundable deposit to secure your room.  We will confirm our acceptance of your booking by email using the address you provide during the booking process.  This will confirm your dates, room and tariff and provide additional local information.  Please allow up to 48 hours to receive this confirmation email.

The final payment will be requested 28 days before you arrive and must be paid at least 21 days before arrival. We do not accept cheques but are happy to provide our bank details for bank transfers on request. Any additional services bought during your stay such as packed lunches or evening meals can be paid for on departure – we have a card reader for all major debit and credit cards. If you book within one month of your arrival date, then you will be asked for the full amount when making the booking.

Cancellations with 85% refund are accepted up to 15 days before the date of arrival. This allows us to re-sell the room as part of our best endeavours to secure you a refund. Should the room be re-sold (which can happen due to the high demand for accommodation) we will then refund you the re-sell amounts, less a fee of £25 to cover administration.  We do recommend good travel/holiday insurance as our full Terms and Conditions are stringent.
