Travel Information
There is currently a lot of press about the various ferry problems in Scotland. We would like to reassure you that Mull is open and there are still many different ways to enjoy your stay at Staffa House.
Our largest ship, the Isle of Mull is operating again between Oban and Craignure supported by MV Loch Frisa as happened last summer.
The Corran Ferry is operating at Ardgour connecting Fort William, Morven, Ardnamurchan and Mull via the Cal Mac service from Lochaline to Fishnish.
However, did you know that you can come as a foot passenger on the main ferry between Oban and Craignure? There is a regular bus service between Craignure and Fionnphort which works alongside the ferry timetable. The view from the window is glorious and you can leave the driving to one of the local professionals. There are several long-term car-parks in Oban with our local council providing a handy list. https://www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/car-parks-oban-lorn-and-isles. The “Your Parking Space” website also provides a long-term payment option for the large central Tesco car park in Oban.
All of the companies mentioned here have fully accessible websites or you can call us at Staffa House and we’ll do our best to provide the latest information.
