Animals and Staffa House

Regrettably we are not able to accept dogs at Staffa House.  We have two cats (Betty and Bella) who do not wish to share their space. Our cats may pop through for a visit but are generally discouraged from guest areas, and are allowed in bedrooms.

We have found that many guests enjoy the chance to stop and (attempt to) have a chat with them. But if you are very allergic to animals and especially cats, please take that into account before you book.

Local livestock have ancient grazing rights so you’ll often find sheep and highland cattle wandering the road, beach and village. This is a great photo opportunity but also a clear reminder of why our garden gate has to be kept closed!
